Spring!

Vivaldi encapsulated spring in his glorious musical score.

Botticelli brought spring to life in art with his exquisite masterpiece, Primavera.

And, Pantone (the global authority on colour) captured spring in their Spring Colour Report for 2012, including colour of the year, Tangerine Tango. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Colour Institute, spoke about consumers looking to spring for "renewed energy, optimism and the promise of a brighter day". Well, the Little Birdie girls are certainly feeling inspired by the vivid brights, soft muted tones, and fun-loving pastels featured this season!

The report coincided with New York Fashion Week (September 2011), and with the fashion world always working 6-months ahead, it seemed a little far off for Australians. Though, now it is our turn!

The report, aptly named "Dance Into Spring", revealed the most prominent hues for spring 2012.

Check out these gorgeous colour combinations, too-

You will definitely see these colours featured in our upcoming work during this glorious Brisbane Spring.

The day after the beginning of spring, Father's Day gave the Little Birdie family the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with the fathers and grandfathers in their lives.

We are looking forward to styling a beautiful first birthday this coming weekend. Emma (of E. V. O'Neill Photography) will be capturing the delicious images, and we will share them with you soon.
